Mukul Agarwal Website history

Here's a list of when I redesigned my website substantially!

26/10v5

I decided that my website had way too many pages, so I reduced this to make my homepage have more info about me. I like this iteration a lot and will probably not change my website substantially very soon.

This version has lasted 9 hours, 29 minutes, and 8 seconds (and counting).

26/06v4

I went back to Astro! But, this time I made a relatively minimal theme with only a little CSS (and no frontend JS!).

I ended up adding a lot of cool features to this iteration of the website, including automatic generation of my favicon + opengraph images1 using Satori, automatic fetching of remote files during build time, and automatic compilation of Typst files like my Résumé (to be included as PDFs) using typst.ts.

I returned to Vercel’s generous free tier with this website iteration.

This version lasted 106 days.

25/11v3

I got kind of tired of the last website and how many colors it had, so I switched to the Hugo static site generator with the Hugo Bear Blog theme.

I hosted this iteration of the website on Github Pages.

This version lasted 241 days.

24/06v2

I finally made a proper website (in Astro.js)! To compensate for the last one, it was very colorful.

I hosted this iteration of the website on Vercel.

This version lasted 518 days.

23/09v1

A very plain HTML website! I wrote it up right after purchasing my domain at ~7:00 AM (after an all nighter). In retrospect, I’m pretty surprised I didn’t redesign it for so long.

This version lasted 252 days.
