This photo, taken from the balcony of the Lawson Computer Science Building, provides an expansive view of a bustling university intersection and several prominent campus buildings under a clear, bright blue sky. In the foreground, the intersection of University Street and Third Street is clearly visible, marked by white crosswalks and traffic signals. Pedestrians can be seen walking across the crosswalks and along the sidewalks, indicating active campus life. Behind the intersection, the Felix Haas Hall features prominently, identifiable by its distinctive reddish-brown brick facade and a multi-tiered, reddish-orange tile roof that has a wave-like pattern. Mature green trees partially obscure parts of this building, adding a natural element to the urban landscape. To the right, further in the background, portions of Beering Hall and the Mathematical Sciences Building are discernible. These buildings are also constructed of similar reddish-brown brick, though their architectural styles vary. Beering Hall, in particular, appears as a taller, more imposing structure with numerous windows. The overall scene conveys the vibrant atmosphere of a university campus on a clear day, with a blend of historic and modern architecture.
