I build small tools for my writing in Typst.
typiff
Typst does not have very good support for dates and times… but it does support WASM plugins. So, I made
typiff as a small shim to wrap the Rust library jiff. Its API
takes strings, and returns dates, times, timestamps, timezones and calendar spans in typst! I also defined helpers to help integration with Typst’s native datetime format.
Here’s a small example:
#import "lib.typ": parse-date, to-datetime
#let date = parse-date("2024-02-29")
#date.weekday // "thursday"
#to-datetime(date).display("[day] [month repr:long] [year]")
// 29 February 2024
Typst templates
My Typst templates repository contains the document layouts and typesetting helpers I use in my own work, including this website. It supports the following document formats:
- Compact notes
- Books/long course notes
- Homework assignments
- Résumés
- Cover letters
At some point in the near future, I will add some examples and make this repo more usable to others.
